Women in Engineering-MEMS Group Networking Event
Wednesday, 18 January, 11:45 - 13:00
Courtyard Marriott Restaurant
The WIE-MEMS group first met in 2019 at the 32nd IEEE MEMS Conference in Seoul, Korea, and continued in 2020 at the 33rd MEMS in Vancouver, Canada. This year, after the pandemic, we come back with a new Women in MEMS Engineering event in Munich.
This WIE-MEMS group event aims to strengthen the engagement with peers and help to build life networks for the promotion of women in the field of MEMS engineering.
The event will establish a dialogue-performance with three young women recognized for their high MEMS scientific contributions who come from the three representative regional divisions of the MEMS community: Americas, Europe and Africa, and Asia and Oceania.
The audience will actively participate through a mobile application to answer questions and situations. Based on these answers, an argument will be built putting on the stage the differences between cultures and ways-of-life.
We envision a very life, interactive and fun event!
Please come and join this WIE event on MEMS to enrich our community!
Women and men are welcome!!!!
This event is cosponsored by the Technical MEMS Community
