Lisbon International Airport
The region is served by Lisbon International Airport, located only 30 kilometers (19 miles) away. MEMS 2015 is working with Forum d'Ideias for ground transportation to and from Estoril and back to Lisbon Airport. Their prices are as follows:
Airport Transportation In addition to the standard taxi services, there is an airbus that connects the airport to Lisbon city center. It runs every 20 minutes and serves Cais do Sodré (Cascais line) and Rossio (Sintra line) railway stations. Taxi services operate around the clock and trains between Cascais and Lisbon, and Sintra and Lisbon take little over half an hour and only stop between 02:00 and 05:30. Metro/Train From Lisbon airport take the Red Underground Line towards S. Sebastiao station and descend at Alameda. Change at Alameda for the Green Line towards Cais do Sodré station and from there, take the train to Estoril or Cascais. The Metro runs every 12 minutes, from 6:30 - 1:00, daily. Tickets are available for 1.40€. Once at Cais do Sodré, exit the underground station and cross the street towards the railway station. To reach Estoril, take the urban train to Cascais via Estoril. There are several trains per hour leaving the Cais do Sodré Railway Station to Cascais and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes with fantastic views of the Estoril Coast Line. The cost is 2.15€ Taxi You may also pot for the Taxi. Seek, just outside of the Lisbon Airport, one of the many Taxis available to take you to your destiny - Estoril Coast. There are two taxi stands in the airport, one at Arrivals and one at Departures. The average taxi fare from the airport to Estoril is 50€. |
