The Rio Las Vegas Hotel and Casino is located off the Las Vegas Strip. Better known as The Rio, the hotel was named after the city of Rio de Janeiro, and is influenced by Brazilian culture. The Rio, itself, offers premium entertainment such as the comedic magic show of Pen & Teller to relaxing at the one of the four pools. The Rio also offers a complimentary shuttle to the Strip for its guests. The IEEE MEMS 2017 has arranged for discounted rooms at the Conference hotel, The Rio Las Vegas Hotel and Casino.

The rate does not include state and local sales/room taxes, fees and assessments currently a combined twelve percent (12%). A daily resort fee of $25.00 per room per night plus the current Clark County room tax of 12% will be charged in addition to the room rates stated above.

NOTE: The MEMS 2017 Conference does not work with an external housing bureau. If you are contacted by an outside organization, other than Preferred Meeting Management, Inc. (PMMI), please do not respond to them. Contact us at info@mems17.org to report/verify.

The cut-off date for the reduced group rate is Friday, December 30, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Reservations made after the December 30th cut-off date will be confirmed subject to availability of space and non-group rates. An advance deposit in the form of a valid credit card, money order or personal check is needed to hold your reservation. Cancellation and prepayment policies vary according to room type.

To cancel your reservation, please contact The Rio Las Vegas Hotel and Casino at least 72 hours prior to your check-in date to avoid fees.
