Check in at the 4* centrally located Hotel and time at leisure. Dinner at leisure and overnight. Day 2 Breakfast and meeting in the HTL lobby with our tour leader and departure by coach toward the Vatican for visiting the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter. Explore the Vatican Museum's collection of Egyptian, Etruscan, Roman, Renaissance and Baroque art, works by Michelangelo, Raphael, Caravaggio and Canova as well as the awe-inspiring Sistine Chapel. Of course the most remarkable attraction is the Sistine Chapel, with masterpiece by Botticelli, Signorelli, Perugino and, above all the Genesis and Last Judgement by Michelangelo Buonarroti. St. Peter is the largest most famous and magnificent Basilica in the World. The Basilica was originally built where the Apostole saint Peter was believed to have been buried, The current basilica was inaugurated in 1626 and only later the square in front was planned and completed with its colonnade by Bernini... Lunch at leisure and afternoon at leisure for shopping or...Dinner at leisure and overnight. Day 3 Breakfast and meeting in the HTL lobby with our tour leader and departure by coach toward the "Ancient Rome" for a guided visit of the Colosseum and Forum area passing through the spectacular Via dei Fori. Lunch at leisure and afternoon at leisure (we would suggest a promenade passing through the very city centre: Piazza del Popolo, Piazza Navona, Piazza di Spagna (Spanish steps), Fontana di Trevi (Trevi fountain)). Dinner at leisure and overnight.
