Travel Grant

Student/Young Researcher Travel Grant

The MEMS 2018 Conference is offering student travel grants, on a competitive basis, for attending and presenting at the upcoming conference. Students (including graduate students and those who have obtained their Ph.D. degree) who have been successful in being accepted for an oral or poster presentation are eligible to apply. A limited number of stipends will be granted, intended to offset travel and registration costs. The selection process strives to award highly scored contributions, while also giving consideration to geographical and topical balance, among other criteria.

Students/ Young Researchers who have received notification of acceptance of their conference contributions are encouraged to apply via the application below by December 14, 2017. All applicants will be notified no later than Friday, January 5, 2017.

Successful recipients of these grants are required to:

• Assist the conference organizers before or during the conference
• Prepare and submit a Thank You letter to the sponsor of the grant
• Prepare and submit short report of their impressions of the conference (0.5 - 1 pages)
• Prepare and submit the necessary Tax Form
